Mission ConneXion

Saturday I volunteered at Mission ConneXion, a missions conference. It was so much fun! From a very early age, I have been "into" Missions, and so going to things like this is my cup of tea, so to speak, :) I love seeing how God works through His people in very diverse ways. God is so good!
One of the sessions I actually got to listen to was preseted by a native preacher from Haiti. He was so passionate and fun to listen to. He would often end his sentances with "Praise the Lord, Hallalujah!" While he was reading Romans, he read "we are hairs of God..." then he stopped and asked "Is it hairs or heirs? Oh, okay the "H" is silent...okay...praise the Lord, Hallalujah!" :)
So I thought I'd post some pictures of the day....

This is just plain funny!

We had a little impromptu photoshoot in the cafe on break...

....and Whitney found her true love....hahaha, not really. :)

There were lots of people all over!

Mr. Rouse did a good job of keeping all of us volunteers in line. Bigger job than most think! :P Hahaha

And Whitney being beautiful!

If you went, what were some of your favorite sessions? There were some really amazing-sounding ones that I didn't go to because I was recording other rooms. :( But it was all good--so much wonderful things that God does throughout the conference and it was a blessing to be a part of. :)
